Mallorca (Majorca)

Majorca - the main island of Balearsky archipelago and simultaneously one of most ecologically pure resorts of Mediterranean sea. The soft marine climate, allowing to rest here all year long, beaches with small white sand, pure sea of surprising izumrudno-blue colour, mountain landscapes, the various vegetation and variety of historical monuments convert Majorca into present paradise for tourists.

The European elite has opened for itself numerous advantages of Majorca in the middle of XIX century when about mass tourism anybody and did not hear. Among the first tourists here have appeared Frederic Chopin and George Sand which have conducted five months on Majorca. Behind them the infinite train of writers, artists, the musicians, missing aristocrats was pulled and is simple fans idle and in every respect a pleasant life. Every summer here on rest with its full complement there comes the Spanish royal family.

Today Majorca - one of the most popular and luxurious resorts of the Mediterranean. The island nature is surprisingly rich and various. Mountain ridges are replaced by reserved forests and the fertile valleys carefully hadled by local farmers. Hotels basically are centred along the coast well-known for the wonderful sand beaches and crystal-clear transparent sea of amazing blueness. The bank line differs the most beautiful combination of the extensive beaches pulled on many kilometres, and the majestic marine rocky rocks covered with pine forests both forming lonely coves and picturesque bays.

The swimming season lasts from May till October, the water temperature fluctuates at this time from (May, 18th) till (August, 28th) of degrees of heat.
